Do I need a WhatsApp Business API account?+

No. WATI Pro uses the real WhatsApp Web protocol (Baileys) running on your own gateway. There are no per-message fees from Meta or BSPs.

Does my WhatsApp number need to be verified?+

No verification is required. Any regular WhatsApp number works — just use it responsibly, start with low volume, and warm up new numbers gradually.

Is bulk sending allowed by WhatsApp?+

Use it responsibly. Only message opted-in contacts, warm up new numbers, respect daily limits, and honour STOP requests. The free plan caps you at 50 messages/day to protect new accounts.

Can my number get banned?+

WhatsApp can restrict any number that violates their policies — spammy content, mass messaging non-opted-in contacts, or sending too fast from a fresh number. WATI Pro paces sends and warns you, but the responsibility is yours.

How many devices can I connect?+

Up to 10 WhatsApp numbers depending on your plan. Each connects via QR scan and runs through your self-hosted gateway.

Where is my data stored?+

WhatsApp session data lives on your VPS gateway. Contacts, campaigns, and logs are stored in our managed Supabase database, encrypted in transit and at rest.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the billed month, then drops to Free.

Which currencies do you support?+

Pricing auto-detects your country and shows PKR, INR, USD, GBP, EUR, AED, SAR, CAD, or AUD.

Do you have an API?+

Yes — a full REST API with API keys. Send messages, run campaigns, manage contacts, and fetch logs programmatically.
