Privacy Policy

WATI Pro ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use wati.pro, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data — name, email, hashed password, and billing plan.
  • WhatsApp session data — encrypted session credentials needed to keep your linked devices online. We never read or store your personal chats.
  • Campaign data — contacts you upload, templates, and message logs you create inside WATI Pro.
  • Payment data — processed by Stripe or your local gateway. We only store the resulting subscription status and invoice reference.
  • Usage data — basic logs (IP, browser, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

2. How we use it

We use your data only to:

  • Operate the WhatsApp gateway and campaign delivery features you signed up for.
  • Bill the correct plan and send transactional emails (signup confirmation, receipts, security alerts).
  • Investigate abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms.
  • Improve product reliability through aggregated, non-identifying metrics.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your contacts or message content for advertising or model training.

3. Sharing

We share data only with sub-processors that are required to run the service:

  • Supabase — database and authentication.
  • Stripe and approved local payment gateways — billing.
  • Email infrastructure (notify.wati.pro) — transactional email.
  • Cloudflare — hosting and DDoS protection.

We may disclose data if compelled by valid legal process.

4. Retention

Account, campaign, and billing data are retained while your account is active and for up to 12 months after closure for tax and audit purposes. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

5. Your rights

You can access, export, correct, or delete your data by emailing privacy@wati.pro. We respond within 30 days.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to production data is limited to authorised engineers and logged. Despite our controls, no system is 100% secure — please use a strong password and enable two-factor authentication where available.

7. WhatsApp & user-sent messages

You are responsible for the consent and lawful basis of every contact you message via WATI Pro. Sending unsolicited bulk messages violates WhatsApp's terms and our Terms of Service, and may result in your account being suspended.

8. Changes

If we materially change this policy we will notify active users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
